Work has been entirely too slow for weeks now. I've been waiting forever on several people to send me information for projects, yet they don't send it and don't respond to queries. I suppose I should send new queries out soon...

On the writing front, I've begun writing again. Which is good, really good. For a long time now, I've based my writing on other things hapenning. Now, I've realized it all just has been a roadblock in my mind to keep me from doing it. So far I've handwritten a half dozen pages with notes and maps. Hopefully I'll get myself sat down in front of the computer before long and do something other than play World of Warcraft.

C and I are buying a house soon. We close on it next week, actually. Still waiting to hear from the appraisal person to make sure that the house is worth the amount we are trying to mortgage (stupid Federal programs and their strict requirements). We've already begun packing and have taken a half dozen loads to our storage unit. I think by this weekend we'll likely have the majority of easily movable stuff moved. Over the course of the next few weeks, I'm planning on moving anything that we can get in our car and that we don't desparately need for a month.

I'll be extremely happy to not have to drive twenty minutes a day, too. Yesterday I got a migraine after eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, which in turn made me extremely angry while driving. I got cut off by some asshole on talking on his cellphone (the light was green for both of us, I was turning right, he was turning left -- obviously my right of way, but he tried to sneak his big ass BMW through my sleek VW).
